1, 2, 3 CUCUMBERS!!...... (BA DUM TSS!)
Okay let's be honest, no one is reallyyy raving about eating cucumbers, but with a dash of salt they can be surprisingly tasty!🤤
With cucumbers being 96% water it's no wonder they leave your taste buds feeling a bit lonely. The benefits though, goes beyond what our taste buds can detect. Cucumbers are great for their anti-inflammatory properties, which helps reduce swelling and puffiness around the under eye area. They're also packed with antioxidants and vitamin K which is essential for bone health and blood clotting. According to dermatologist Marnie Nussbaum, cucumbers, when cool act as a cold compress that constricts blood vessels and restricts fluid buildup that leads to puffy eyes. This crunchy vegetable, that is scientifically considered a fruit, also contains vitamins B and C and minerals such as copper, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium. If you're like us and rather not eat cucumbers to reap the benefits😅, they can be just as beneficial when applied topically.
